SnapScore is a unique feature in Snapchat, which is a measure of your overall activity on the platform. It's essentially a numerical score that Snapchat gives you based on your activities, including the Snaps you send and receive, Stories you post, and other factors.
SnapScore is calculated using the following factors:
- Number of Snaps Sent: Each snap you send to a friend adds one point to your SnapScore. This includes both picture and video Snaps.
- Number of Snaps Received: You also earn a point for each Snap you open from a friend. However, it's worth mentioning that watching or replaying a snap doesn't increase your score.
- Stories: Posting a Snap to your Story also adds a point to your SnapScore.
- Other factors: Though Snapchat’s exact algorithm isn’t known, it’s also believed that your score can be boosted by adding new friends and using other Snapchat features.
Note: Sending or receiving messages (text, stickers, etc.) in the chat feature does NOT increase your SnapScore.
