ESLM, also referred to as Emerging Sources Litigation Monitoring, is a division of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). The term is commonly used within the scientific community. The function of ESLM is to monitor and select new and up-and-coming indexed publications in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection. The main goal of ESLM is to be a bridge for new journals to become eligible for evaluation to be included in the prestigious Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI).
